From personal experience, sacrificing a creature at the right moment during combat can totally turn the tide of the game. Used a 'Doomed Dissenter' to block, then sacrificed it to trigger its ability, getting a stronger creature on the board. Timing and strategy are everything!

In MTG, you can sacrifice a creature whenever you have an ability or spell that allows it, during either your turn or your opponent's. Key moments include in response to an opponent's spell, to trigger an ability of your own, or during one of your main phases when the stack is empty. Always keep in mind the specific timing rules of the ability you're using to make the sacrifice!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
