When Can You Do Co-Op in Tales of Vesperia?
You can start co-op in Tales of Vesperia as soon as you get control of more than one character in your party. This usually happens pretty early in the game.

Co-op unlocks after you recruit the second character. Just plug in another controller and go whoop some baddies together!
I've done co-op in Vesperia with a friend right after the first dungeon. Just needed to set it up in the menu!
Pretty much as soon as you have a second party member.
