You can use a Pokemon card ability anytime during your turn before you attack, unless the ability specifically says otherwise. Some abilities might have special conditions like 'once per turn' or need certain circumstances to be met, so always read the card text carefully!

Hot take: Just remember, not all abilities are created equal. Some can totally change the game, so keep an eye on timing to maximize your play!

Based on my battles, timing is everything. Used an ability right before attacking once and it was a game-changer. Made me realize how crucial it is to read those cards thoroughly and use the abilities at the perfect moment. It's not just about the attack, it's how you set it up.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
