2000. It's all about the Neo sets after that.

Actually, 1st Editions kinda phased out quietly. Different regions stopped at different times, but basically, by the time Neo sets came around, 1st Edition stamps were a thing of the past in the English versions. The Japanese versions kept going a bit longer, though.

1st Edition Pokémon cards, which are super prized by collectors for their rarity and value, stopped being printed around the end of 1999 to early 2000. This was right after the first few sets hit the market. So, if you've got one, that's a real treasure from the golden days of Pokémon TCG!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
