2008! It's crazy to think how long ago that was, considering the game still feels fresh to this day. Rockstar Games must have poured a ton of resources and creativity into making GTA 5.

GTA 5, aka Grand Theft Auto V, officially entered development in 2008. It was a massive effort from Rockstar Games, taking a good few years to craft the game we know and love today. They really took their time to build that expansive world of Los Santos!

I heard it was in 2008. Rockstar had just finished with GTA IV and was like, 'Alright, onto the next one!' And thus, GTA V was born into development. Takes a long time to create a masterpiece!

Actually, GTA V development kicked off right after GTA IV was out of the door in 2008. Rockstar didn't waste any time jumping onto what would become their next big hit.

2008, but let's be real, the game was ahead of its time anyway. Rockstar always ahead of the curve!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
