Rockstar hasn't officially spilled the beans on the exact start date of GTA 6 development, but rumors started swirling around as early as 2012, just after the release of GTA V. Given the usual development cycle of their massive titles, it's safe to say they've been cooking it up for quite a while now.

Honestly, it's all super hush-hush, but insider leaks suggest Rockstar Games might have started early concepts and planning for GTA 6 shortly after GTA V launched in 2013. So, they've probably been at it for a decade, give or take.

Dude, who really knows? Rockstar keeps things locked down tighter than Fort Knox. Best guess? Sometime after GTA 5 dropped.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
