The trees? They start getting all autumn-y around the end of September! Best part of the game if you ask me. Nothing beats the cozy vibes of fall in Animal Crossing.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the trees start changing colors in the fall, around late September to early October. This mirrors the real-world seasons in the Northern Hemisphere. If your game is set to the Southern Hemisphere, this change will happen around late March to early April. It's a gradual process, so you'll see the leaves change color and fall over a few weeks!

Actually, it's not just fall when trees change. Cherry blossom season in early April (for Northern Hemisphere players) turns some trees pink. It's brief but beautiful!

End of Sept for Northern Hemisphere! But, honestly, cherry blossom season is where it鈥檚 at.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
