Snow in Animal Crossing: New Horizons starts to fall around late November and lasts until late February. The whole island transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with snowflakes floating in the air. Perfect time to build snowboys and catch those unique winter bugs and fish!

Just to add, the first snowfall doesn't immediately stick to the ground. It starts to accumulate and stick from around mid-December. So, if you're looking to make snow angels, mid-December to February is your timeline.

FYI, it only snows in the Northern Hemisphere during those months. If your island is in the Southern Hemisphere, you'll see snow from late May to late August. Gotta love the opposite seasons!

Actually, I prefer it when it doesn't snow. The island looks best in summer, IMO.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
