Gotta take down those mechanical bosses first. Then, it's Solar Eclipse time. Mothron won't give you the time of day otherwise. Keep it simple.

Mothron only shows up after you've defeated all three mechanical bosses (The Twins, The Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime). Remember, it has to be during a Solar Eclipse too, which is a rare event that happens randomly or can be triggered with a Solar Tablet. So, gear up, beat those bosses, and keep your eyes peeled for that eerie day when the sun doesn't rise!

Despite all the excitement around Mothron, let's not forget it's basically a big moth. Just beat the mechanical bosses, chill until a Solar Eclipse, and then swat it down. Not as hard as it sounds.
