Honestly, it's more of a standalone story. Just enjoy the epic battles and Deku-Bakugo bromance!
From my experience, it fits weirdly into the timeline, not perfectly canon but still enjoyable if you love the show.
Heroes Rising is set somewhere between the Joint Training Arc and the Endeavor Agency Arc during the anime timeline. It's kind of like a fun side story!
