When does rotation happen in MTG?
MTG rotation happens once a year, usually in the fall with the release of the first set of the new Magic year. This is when certain sets move out of the Standard format to make room for new ones. So, if you're playing Standard, keep an eye out around September!

No need to overcomplicate it: MTG rotation is an annual event, hitting in the fall. Sets older than the last two years are out!
Just remember, rotation's in the fall. It keeps the game fresh and makes you rethink your deck strategies every year. Been playing MTG for a decade and this is what keeps me hooked!
