Snow in Animal Crossing starts to melt around mid to late February. You'll notice the snow gradually disappearing and the grass starting to show through. It's a slow transition back to spring, so enjoy the winter wonderland while it lasts!

Actually, I prefer the snow in Animal Crossing. Wish it could stay all year round. The island looks so peaceful covered in it.
