OVA movies are kinda like side quests: you can watch them anytime after Season 1 for some cool backstories.
The OVAs cover various points in the series, like 'Ilse鈥檚 Notebook' which is around the end of Season 1 and 'No Regrets' which focuses on Levi鈥檚 past before joining the Survey Corps.
They fill in gaps and give more background info. Definitely worth watching once you鈥檙e halfway through Season 1.
