Plants vs Zombies can either cost you money upfront or not at all, depending on where and how you play. The original PC and Mac versions require a one-time purchase, but there are also freemium versions on mobile that are free to download with optional in-app purchases for extras. So, it's kinda like choosing between paying for a full meal or getting the base dish free and paying for the add-ons!

It's all free unless you want the fancy stuff. Then, yeah, you gotta open your wallet.

I shelled out for the original on PC way back when, totally worth it. Never touched the mobile versions, but my buddy says he's been playing for free. Guess it depends on your platform and patience for in-game purchases.

If you're a Plants vs Zombies player looking for extra money or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Plants vs Zombies essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
