Traditionally, the Steam Summer Sale kicks off towards the end of June. Mark your calendar around the last two weeks of June, but keep an eye out for official announcements from Valve for the exact date!

Steam doesn't have a set-in-stone schedule, but if history has its say, you're looking at the end of June. They like to surprise us, though, so stay vigilant.

It usually starts end of June, but Valve operates on Valve Time™. Could be anytime they decide the summer vibe is right.

I've got firsthand experience of eagerly waiting and then splurging during the Steam Summer Sale. It's like Black Friday for gamers. Normally, it's the end of June. Steam will plaster the date everywhere on their platform once it's confirmed, so you won't miss it.

End of June, unless Valve decides to mess with us. Which, to be fair, is totally a thing they'd do.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
