Winter in Animal Crossing starts on December 1st! The whole island transforms into a winter wonderland overnight. It's like magic; you go to bed, and boom, snow everywhere when you wake up in your in-game house. You can start building snowmen, catch snowflakes, and enjoy all those cozy winter vibes. Plus, the festive season decorations and activities kick off, making it the most wonderful time of the year in the game!

Actually, it depends on what hemisphere your island is in! If your island is in the Northern Hemisphere, winter starts on December 1st. But if you're rocking the Southern Hemisphere, winter begins on June 1st. So, you can choose your winter vibes based on that when setting up your island.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
