Good news, fellow rancher! Your save files in Slime Rancher are usually safe during updates. The developers are pretty good at making sure you don't lose progress when they roll out new features or fixes. Just back up your saves occasionally, because you never know!

In my experience, I've never had any issues with my Slime Rancher save files getting wiped after an update. Just boot up, and get back to wrangling those adorable slimes!

Updates are normally seamless, and you won't lose your saves. Just keep an eye on any specific patch notes from the developers!
