Steam's big sales usually happen in the summer and winter, give or take a few weeks. Keep an eye out in late June for the Summer Sale and mid-December for the Winter Sale. Valve's pretty consistent, but they like to keep the exact dates under wraps until close to the event.

The exact dates for Steam sales aren't announced way in advance, but if I were a betting person, I'd mark late June and late December on your calendar. That's when they historically roll out the big guns with discounts.

Honestly, just wait for the Holiday Season. Best deals every year, hands down. Can't go wrong.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
