No beta, just boom! Apex Legends hit the ground running on February 4, 2019. They skipped the appetizer and served us the main course right away.

Apex Legends didn't have a traditional beta phase that was open to the public. It surprised everyone by launching fully on February 4, 2019. So, you could say there wasn't a 'beta release' in the usual sense. The game just dropped out of nowhere, fully formed and ready to play, which was pretty cool tbh.

Actually, Apex Legends sorta bypassed the whole beta thing and went straight to launch on February 4, 2019. It was like waking up to Christmas in February without any warning. Peak surprise, 10/10 would get shocked again.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
