It was actually 2010. Before that, Funko was just doing bobbleheads and stuff. Then they upped their game and started pumping out these Pops that everyone, including your grandma, probably collects now.

2010! That's when Funko decided to grace us with the Pop! line, changing the collectibles game forever. Before that, they were all about bobbleheads and other novelty items, but Pops? Game changer.

Funko Pop burst onto the scene in 2010, giving fans stylized figures of their fave characters from pretty much any media you can think of. It's like they took the idea of bobbleheads, made it way cooler, and then decided to cover every fandom imaginable.

2009 was the foundation year for Funko Pop, and since then, it's been a wild ride of collecting frenzy. A mistake often made, but it's 2010 that saw the world getting its first glimpse of what would become a collecting phenomenon.

If you're a Funko Pop player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
