When was GTA 6 in development?
GTA 6, or Grand Theft Auto 6, officially entered the development stage a few years back. Rockstar Games, the masterminds behind the GTA series, haven't given us a specific start date, but rumors and leaks suggest they've been working on it for quite some time now. Given the complexity and detail in GTA games, it's safe to say the development for GTA 6 likely started shortly after GTA 5 launched, so we're probably looking at a development timeline that began around 2014 or 2015.
