Hot Wheels first hit the scene in 1968, dreamt up by Elliot Handler as a cooler, more customizable option to the Matchbox cars. Basically, they're the OG of making little cars with big attitude and even bigger wheels!

1968! That's when the first set of Hot Wheels rolled out. They've been the kings of the toy car world ever since.

Honestly, Hot Wheels have been around forever, but officially, they started in 1968. It's wild to think they've been capturing hearts for that long with just tiny cars!

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
