Just to set the record straight, redlines were the OG Hot Wheels, rolling out of production from '68 to '77. After that, the designs changed, but nothing beats the classics. If you've got one, you're holding onto a piece of toy car history.
1977 marked the end of the redline era for Hot Wheels. So if it's got red stripes on the tires, it's from '68 to '77, no doubt.
