As of now, you can't play PS3 discs on a PS5. However, PS Now lets you stream some PS3 titles. Gotta love cloud gaming!

I tried popping in my old PS3 disc into the PS5, and no luck. But PlayStation Now's library saved the day!

Don't hold your breath for native PS3 support on PS5. Sony seems focused on streaming through PS Now.

PS3 games currently aren't natively supported on PS5, but you can stream them via PlayStation Now. So, no direct backward compatibility, but you can still get your nostalgia fix!
