Usually, server downtime is for maintenance or updates and can last from an hour to several hours. Epic Games typically announces the expected downtime on their official Twitter account (@FortniteStatus), so keep an eye there for updates!

Fortnite servers are often down for maintenance early in the morning (UTC), and they usually come back up within a few hours. Hang tight; it won't be long!

Why aren鈥檛 the servers working? Probably updates or maintenance. They鈥檒l be back up before you know it!

From experience, it鈥檚 mostly about waiting it out. Epic鈥檚 Twitter and the in-game notifications are your best bet for real-time updates.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
