Hot take: Just keep your game connected to the internet and let the cloud handle it. Worrying about save files is so 2005.

For GTA V on PC, your save files are tucked away in the 'Documents' folder, specifically under 'Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\'. Each profile has a unique folder, so if you're diving in there, make sure you're poking around the right one!

On consoles like PlayStation and Xbox, GTA V saves are handled differently. They're stored internally and managed through each console's cloud storage or system storage. So, no need to look through folders, just make sure your system's backup settings are in order.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
