You'll find the alkali metals chilling in Group 1 of the Periodic Table. Keep an eye out for hydrogen at the top, but remember it's not an alkali metal!

As someone who had to memorize the table back in the day, I can confidently say alkali metals are in Group 1. First column, starting just below hydrogen, and they love to react with water!
