Basically, metals are like the popular kids in high school鈥攖hey're everywhere except the right corner where the non-metals hang out.
Most metals are found on the left side and in the middle of the periodic table. You're looking at the s-block, d-block, and part of the p-block!
Metals dominate the s-block, d-block, and f-block. Check out groups 1-12 for a good chunk of them!
