You can find it in various places, but your best bet is to look for items like alarm clocks, biometric scanners, and fusion cores, then scrap 'em at a crafting station. Also, keep an eye out for glowing enemies; they often drop nuclear material when defeated. Happy scavenging!

Radiation signs are your friend. When you see 'em, there's usually nuclear material nearby. Just make sure you're prepared to handle whatever radiated horrors are guarding it. Good luck, and don't glow too much out there!
Just buy it. Vendors in Diamond City often have nuclear material for sale. It's the wasteland's way of window shopping.
Nuclear material's not just lying around everywhere, sadly. But, if you hit up hospitals and research facilities, you're likely to score some. I've personally had a lot of luck at the Mass Fusion Building. Don't forget to equip some perks that help with finding more materials!
