Dissenting opinion here, but honestly, just buy it from a vendor. It saves you the hassle of combing through every nook and cranny of the Commonwealth. Your time is better spent elsewhere!

Biometric scanners in Fallout 4 are like the bobby pins of the wasteland - they're everywhere but nowhere when you really need them. Your best bet is to look for them in hospitals, laboratories, or any pre-war military checkpoints. These spots are crawling with tech goodies. Also, don't forget to search through safes and toolboxes; you'd be surprised at the treasures they hold.

From personal experience, the Boston Mayoral Shelter and the Fort Hagen hangar are gold mines for these. Was doing a quest, minding my own business, and bam! Biometric scanners galore.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
