If Dogmeat, your trusty canine companion, is missing in Fallout 4, don’t panic! First, check your last few visited locations, as companions often linger where you left them. If that fails, head back to one of your settlements - Dogmeat usually returns to the Red Rocket Truck Stop near Sanctuary Hills if he's lost. Lastly, if you've unlocked the 'Vault-Tec Population Management System' after completing the 'Vault-Tec Workshop' DLC, you can use it to track all your companions, including Dogmeat.

Dogmeat's probably chilling at the Red Rocket Truck Stop waiting for you. Companions tend to go back to where you first found them or a designated home settlement if they can't follow you.

Sometimes Dogmeat just likes to play hide and seek. Check your settlements, especially Sanctuary Hills and the Red Rocket Truck Stop. And remember, Dogmeat can't resist the smell of those Wasteland steaks, so maybe leaving one out can 'encourage' him to show up faster.

If you can't find Dogmeat, just remember he's a digital dog in a post-apocalyptic world. He'll turn up eventually when the game feels like it.

Lost Dogmeat? Just build a doghouse in one of your settlements and wait. He might just decide that's his new favorite spot and show up there.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
