Saitama got his power from an intense training regimen: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10 km run every single day, plus three meals a day (but only a banana for breakfast), and never using air conditioning or heating to strengthen his mind. Sounds like a crazy workout routine, but it worked (except for the hair loss)!
Honestly, we might never really know. It could be his crazy training or he could be just blessed by the anime gods!
For real, he trained so hard he lost his hair but gained god-like strength. Talk about dedication!
