Each game in the Elder Scrolls series happens in different parts of Tamriel. Morrowind is in the province of Morrowind, Oblivion takes place in Cyrodiil, and Skyrim is set in the province of Skyrim.
Tamriel is the sandbox! Morrowind's in Morrowind, Oblivion's in Cyrodiil, and Skyrim's in Skyrim. Pretty straightforward, right?
I've played them all! Morrowind's in Morrowind, obviously. Oblivion's set in Cyrodiil and Skyrim is, of course, in the province of Skyrim.
