Just break some sandstone chunks in Grassy Plateaus or Creepvine Forests. Piece of cake!

You can find lead in sandstone outcrops scattered around the Grassy Plateaus, Kelp Forest, and the Safe Shallows biomes. Keep an eye out for those slightly tan-colored rocks!

From my experience, the Safe Shallows biome has a decent amount of sandstone outcrops that contain lead. Be sure to avoid those Stalkers while you're at it!
