Mimics in Terraria are sneaky and can spawn in almost any place where there's enough space on stone, dirt, or pearlstone blocks in the Cavern layer. The trick is, they disguise themselves as chests, waiting to surprise unsuspecting players. So, always be on your guard when you spot a lone chest in the deep underground, it might just be a mimic ready to jump you!

Caverns, my friend! Look for them in the cavern layers, but remember, they're not your average treasure chest. These can bite back!

Honestly, just treat every chest you see with suspicion once you're in the cavern layer. Mimics are like that one friend who always surprises you at your birthday party; except, they're not there to give you a present.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
