Fun fact from a former game shop worker here! We used to order our Pokemon cards directly from authorized distributors. These distributors have contracts with The Pokemon Company, ensuring that all cards are genuine. Sometimes, we'd also get cool promotional materials to hype up the new releases!

Get Pokemon Cards by playing games on Playbite!

They buy them from official distributors. It's all about keeping it legit and making sure no fake cards sneak into your deck.

Actually, some smaller local shops might also trade or buy cards directly from collectors, especially if they're looking for rare or vintage cards. It's not the main way they stock up, but it definitely happens!

Stores usually get their Pokemon cards straight from distributors who are officially licensed by The Pokemon Company. It's kind of like a special club where only certain stores can get access through an application and approval process. This ensures the cards are legit and not some knockoff Pikachu with questionable electrical powers.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
