Fake Pokemon cards can pop up anywhere, but you're most likely to run into them at sketchy online marketplaces, flea markets, or less-than-reputable sellers on social media. Always a good idea to buy from official retailers or trusted sources to avoid getting scammed!

eBay. Enough said. Just kidding, but seriously, tons of fakes float around on eBay. Be super careful and check seller reviews and card details closely!

Honestly, avoid buying cards from places that aren't dedicated game or hobby stores. Random street vendors or those too-good-to-be-true deals at a flea market are often too good to be true for a reason.

Local swap meets or car boot sales are notorious for fake merch, including Pokemon cards. If the deal seems too sweet, it probably ain't legit.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
