You're looking in the wrong place if you're not in the Underground Jungle. That's Plantera's exclusive VIP club after you show the mechanical bosses who's boss.

To find Plantera in Terraria, you gotta beat the three mechanical bosses first (The Twins, The Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime). Once you do that, Plantera's Bulbs start spawning in the Underground Jungle. Look for a pink, glowing bulb on the map; breaking it summons Plantera. Be ready, though; it's a pretty tough fight!

Honestly, just ask nicely. Maybe Plantera will come out without all that bulb-hunting hassle. Kidding, gotta smash that pink bulb in the Underground Jungle!

Just search the Underground Jungle! After defeating the mechanical bosses, Plantera's Bulbs will pop up. They're pink and can't really be missed. Smash one, and Plantera comes to party.
