Actually, selling gear in the traditional sense isn't a thing in Hogwarts Legacy. Instead, you trade your unwanted gear at Eye Chests for house tokens, which are pretty useful for snagging some exclusive items. No Galleons exchange hands, but it's a neat way to declutter and benefit at the same time.

There's no shop to sell gear in Hogwarts Legacy. Gear goes into Eye Chests for house tokens, not Galleons. Keeps the economy simple!

You can't directly sell gear in Hogwarts Legacy like you might in other RPGs. Instead, you use gear to 'donate' at Eye Chests scattered around the world. These chests reward you with house tokens, which you can then use to purchase items or upgrades. So, think of it as a trade rather than a sale. Keep exploring, and you'll find plenty of these chests to trade your gear!

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
