Meiosis primarily occurs in the gonads (testes and ovaries) of animals and the sporangia of plants. Gotta keep those genes diverse!

Meiosis happens in the reproductive organs. In animals, this means the testes in males and the ovaries in females. Plants? It's in the anthers and ovules.

Meiosis happens only in the reproductive organs. Period.

In animals, meiosis takes place in the testes for males and ovaries for females. Plants have their own twist with anthers and ovules!

Take it from someone who studied bio: meiosis is always partying in the testes, ovaries, anthers, and ovules. Genetic diversity galore!
