Steam saves games in your computer's 'Steam' folder, typically found under 'Program Files' on Windows. Inside, you'll see a 'steamapps' folder where all your game files hang out. Specifically, look in 'steamapps/common' for most of your games, though some individual game saves may be in your 'userdata' folder within the Steam directory if they use Steam Cloud for saves.

If you're looking to find your game saves, Steam usually tucks them away in the 'steamapps' folder. However, it's also worth checking out each game's properties in Steam, as some devs choose to store saves in a My Documents subfolder or elsewhere outside the main Steam folder.

Not all games save their files in the Steam folder. Some games prefer to save their progress directly in the Documents or My Games folder. Always worth a check if you can't find your saves in the usual spot!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
