The 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' takes place after episode 51 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. It's basically the same story arc as the Chunin Exams, so you won't miss much if you skip ahead to the movie!

Honestly, the movie and the episodes overlap a lot, so you can watch it anytime after episode 51 and you'll be good.

Watched it after episode 51 and it fit perfectly! The movie added a lot of depth to the characters.

You should watch 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' right after episode 51 of the series. Trust me, it's super fun and gives more depth to Boruto's character.
