If you're on the hunt for rare Pokemon cards in Austin, you gotta check out Pat's Games! The place is legendary among the local TCG community and they have a wide selection of rare finds. Another spot worth visiting is Dragon's Lair Austin; they have a huge collection and the staff there can help you find exactly what you're looking for. Don't forget to hit up local card shows and flea markets, too. You never know what gems you might stumble upon!

Honestly, just hit up any local game shop. Most of them have rare cards or can tell you where to find them.

eBay. Seriously, local shops are cool, but if you want RARE, eBay's where it's at. Found some of my best cards there.

Local shops are way overpriced for rare cards. You're better off trading with local players or joining Facebook groups specific to Austin's TCG community. You'll get better deals and make some friends who are just as into Pokemon as you are.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
