Just look for the area on the map that looks like someone had a massive BBQ party and forgot to clean up. That's Ash Heap for ya.
Ash Heap is in the southwestern part of the Fallout 76 map, just south of the Forest region. It's pretty hard to miss given its unique, desolate landscape filled with mining sites and that ever-present smoky haze. If you see a place that looks like a post-apocalyptic mining disaster, congrats, you've found the Ash Heap!
