Check your storage! You might've unpacked him but didn't place him on a floor. Happened to me once - found him chilling in storage waiting for orders.
I think I might have accidentally sent him to explore the wasteland once when I was half asleep. Check if he's out there brave in the wilds instead of chilling in your vault. Happens to the best of us!
If you've recently acquired a Mr. Handy in Fallout Shelter and can't seem to find him, don't worry! First, check all your vault levels - Mr. Handy patrols one entire floor, so he could be anywhere. If you've assigned him to a specific floor, he should be diligently making his rounds there. Remember, Mr. Handy stays on the floor you assign him to and won't wander off to other floors on his own. If you still can't find him, try closing and reopening the game; sometimes this can resolve display glitches.
