To enable Performance Mode in Fortnite, go to Settings > Video > Advanced Graphics, then select the Performance (Beta) option. Restart the game to apply changes.

You can find Performance Mode in the settings under video options. Did it myself, game runs smooth like butter now!

It's under Settings > Video. Scroll down to Advanced Graphics and choose Performance (Beta). Don't forget to restart!
