If you're on Xbox, saves are stored in the cloud and managed automatically by Xbox Live, so you don't need to worry about manual backups.
If you're playing State of Decay 2 on PC from the Microsoft Store or Xbox Game Pass, your save files are usually located in `C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Dayton_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs\`.
For me, playing on Steam, it鈥檚 always been in `C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\StateOfDecay2\Saved\SaveGames\`. Never had an issue finding them!
