In the original Legend of Zelda on the NES, you can find the Boomerang in the first dungeon, called the Eagle Dungeon. It's behind a locked door, so make sure you have a key!

Basically, grab the Boomerang after defeating all the enemies in the room in Level 1 (Eagle Dungeon). It's classic Zelda 101.

In Zelda's first adventure, you get the Boomerang in Level 1. It's super useful for stunning enemies!

Just beat the baddies in one of the rooms in Level 1, and the Boomerang is yours. Easy peasy!
