The Steam Deck runs a custom version of SteamOS, which is based on Linux, so it doesn’t use the traditional C drive like Windows. You can access your files through the file explorer in Desktop Mode.

There's no C drive on the Steam Deck because it's not running Windows. Use Desktop Mode to explore the filesystem.

Steam Deck doesn’t have a C drive because it's a Linux-based system. Check Desktop Mode for file management.

I’ve been using the Steam Deck for a while now, and trust me, no C drive here! Use Desktop Mode to navigate files, everything is there.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
