Where is the Cap Switch in Super Mario 64?
To unlock the Cap Switches, you need to press the big red button in the Tower of the Wing Cap stage. Just look to the painting of the sunlight in the castle foyer and jump into it. Good luck!

Go to the castle lobby, stand on the sun image on the floor, and look up. You'll be transported to the Wing Cap stage. Easy-peasy.
Honestly, just head to the castle foyer, look up at the light from the sun, and you're there. Happy flying!
To get the Wing Cap, go to the main hall in the castle and stand on the sun carpet, then look up at the ceiling. You'll find the Tower of the Wing Cap stage!
